With each wedding or family session, I’m taken in by all of my people like I’m their own. I get to witness deep love and vulnerability first hand. Being a part of so many rich emotions hearing stories of love, sorrow and legacies. It’s such an honour for me to be a small part in these core memories with you.

The morning giggles you have with your bridesmaids, as you tell old stories and create new whilst sipping coffee. The surprised look at how stunning your bouquets look, the hairspray in the air and the croissants and fruit on the table. The way your girls all gasp and awwww as they see you in your wedding gown. The over beaming look on your moms face as she buttons up the 91 buttons down the back of your gown. The boys hanging out in their gitch until the very last minute. The YouTube video on “how to tie a tie” on the iPhone. Sliding on those face reflective shiny shoes and polishing up that watch. The look of pride on your dad’s face as he holds your hand to walk the aisle. Your groom doing his best to hold back the tears as you say I do, and you trying not to bust into the ugly cry. (I did that, it wasn’t pretty.)

The utter look of happiness on your faces as you exit the ceremony. The one groomsman that has a little too much to drink in the afternoon and the girls busting out into song in unison. The way he holds your lower back tight and stares into your eyes like you’re the only ones in the room. How all the 5 and under kiddos are passed out on a pile of jackets under the table. the speeches, the laughs and the tears. The fun and the love. I’m there for it all. Let’s be honest, by the end of the day, all you’ve got left is one heck of a dirty dress, beautiful memories and your wedding images. I’m so excited to be the one to tell your story.

  • Absolutely! Depending on your project’s needs, I will scout the best location possible for the shoot, whether it be outdoors, in a studio, or your space. Whatever aligns best for your project.

  • Yes of course! I'm based in Saskatoon SK. For shoots outside of Saskatoon a travel fee will apply - unless I'm already in the area! Check my travel schedule for details.

  • Every shoot is unique and it depends on the scope of work, the number of outfits, etc. Typically, for an hour branding session you can expect to receive 20 final edited photos, for a 2hr session 40 final edited photos. 1/2 day, full day and headshot sessions available upon request.

General FAQ

You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers. Here’s a few of the most frequently asked questions I get and of course don’t hesitate to reach out with more.

  • For weddings- usually 10-12 weeks. Couples + Families 3-5 weeks. In high season that timeline could increase based on my shooting and life schedule. I aim to get your images back to you as soon as possible whiel giving time to each and every image that it needs.

  • Heck yes. usually a day or two after your shoot.

  • Fill out my contact form! Then we can chat vision, select dates and come up with a plan.

  • I hear this at almost every shoot I do! Although you'd never know this when you see the photos. Every shoot I do my first priority is making you feel comfortable. About 10 minutes in you'll forget I'm holding a camera. Even your husband will say it was fun!

  • This changes year to year but I usually cap it at 10. I do this so I can give my couples the best experience and to not spread myself thin. Quality over quantity.

  • 13 years! I started when pregnant with our first born. Although I do not recommend starting a business and having a baby at the same time.

  • Every session varies based on the story that unfolds in front of my lens. I don't give a cutoff number or withhold any images from you. You will get all of your story and the best ones. These are your memories and let's just say you will get more then enough to remember this time in your lives.

  • I don't alter the way you look other then blemishes or bruises that are not normally there. If you're self conscious about something just let me know at your shoot so I can be aware when posing you.

  • I always encourage whatever comes our way. I'm a sucker for black clouds and a few gusts of wind. It makes your day that much more beautiful and unique. If it's too much that you'll have a shitty time (or ruin my gear) we can totally reschedule your shoot. If it's a wedding I always keep hawk-eye on the radar and have backup locations ready. Don't worry- I got you.

  • You bet! I actually like to help create your wedding day timeline to make sure you're getting optimal light/photos for your day. Each season and time of year is different. I'll source your locations and if you have input on significant locations just let me know and I can plan that in. I'm here to help the process stay smooth for you.
